Inside a 72 hour website launch
We promise a live business website within three business days. People ask how that is possible without cutting corners. Here is the whole process, hour by hour, including the parts we deliberately leave out.
Este artículo está escrito en inglés.
When we started putting "live in 72 hours" in writing, a few people assumed it meant a template with your logo dropped in. It does not. It means a small, hand built site with a tight scope and a process that removes waiting, which is where most website projects lose their weeks.
Here is how the three days actually run.
Before the clock starts
The clock starts when we have three things from you:
- Your logo, in whatever form you have it.
- A few photos of your work, your team or your premises. Phone photos are fine.
- What you do, in your own words. A voice note on WhatsApp works.
That is all. No forty question brief, no brand workshop. Everything else we either find, write or ask about in one short call.
Day one: structure and words
The first day is mostly writing. We read your existing site if you have one, your Google Business Profile and your reviews, then write the page in plain sentences: what you do, who it is for, where you work, what it costs or how to ask.
Writing first matters. Most slow website projects are waiting for text that nobody has time to write. Doing it ourselves removes that wait, and you only have to say "yes" or "change this line".
By the end of the day you have a written draft and a rough layout to react to.
Day two: design and build
On the second day the page is designed and built at the same time, directly in code. Colours and type come from your logo and photos. Mobile comes first, because that is where most of your visitors arrive.
We wire in the parts that make the site useful rather than decorative: a contact form that reaches you, a WhatsApp button, click to call, Google Analytics and the basic search setup so Google can read the page properly.
You get a preview link that evening and send your changes, usually as a short list on WhatsApp.
Day three: changes, domain and launch
The last day is for your round of changes, connecting your domain and a final check on real phones. Then the site goes live on your address.
If the date slips because of us, the setup fee comes back. That promise is in writing because it keeps us honest about scope.
What a fast launch leaves out on purpose
A 72 hour site is not the right tool for everything, and pretending otherwise would be the real corner cut.
- It is small. One page on the entry tier, up to five or ten on the larger ones. Stores, portals and anything with logins take longer, and the quote builder on our website development page shows a realistic timeline for those.
- It does not include a long content plan. Blog posts, deep SEO work and landing pages for ads come after launch, when you know what visitors actually do.
- It does not wait for perfect photos. Better photos can replace good enough ones at any time.
The goal is a site that is live, accurate and bringing in enquiries this week, which you can then grow, rather than a perfect site that is still in progress next quarter.
After launch
You own the domain, the hosting account and, on the larger tiers, the full source code. If you want us to look after updates, backups and small edits, there are care plans for that, but nothing ties you to us.
If you have a logo, a few photos and a week that starts on Monday, that is enough to start.
